Summary:

  • Opportunity for an Analyst to join the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Operations ACATS (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service) team to support the effective transition of client accounts for the firm.
  • You will help facilitate the movement of assets for clients while monitoring for risk and ensuring compliance to firm and regulatory policies.
  • You will also have the opportunity to be innovative by improving processes, reducing risk and increasing efficiency.
  • The ACATS team works with internal teams, counterparties and vendors to provide effective transaction processing and exceptional client service that both guards the firm's capital and reputation while creating measurable value for the firm and its clients.
  • The team receives and submits ACAT requests in accordance with firmwide and industry standards and ensures proper client approvals and documentation have been received in order to mitigate financial, reputational, and regulatory risk.


Duties:

  • Perform position-level reconciliation of all accounts requested form counter parties/clients.
  • Execute multiple ACATS functions (i.e., account transfer receives, delivers, residuals, mutual funds, foreign and domestic settlements).
  • Review ACAT documentation ensuring paperwork is in-line with industry standards.
  • Maintain integrity of customer accounts.
  • Enforce regulations and policy.
  • Provide superior client service while mitigating risk.
  • Find innovative ways to create efficiencies and improve controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years operations experience (familiarity with ACATS & settlement operations).
  • Compliance and/or regulatory experience.
