The Senior. Director, Data Analytics, leads the strategy of all data analytics initiatives and ensures the data analytics initiatives aligns with business priorities. This leadership role oversees data collection, analysis, technology, insights and reporting to support and drive business growth. This professional tells the data driven story to the business by connecting data from multiple sources to provide insightful and actionable recommendations to meet ASHP's mission.

This is a regional remote position that requires candidates to live in the DMV area and be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed. At ASHP, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. The salary range for this position is $165,000-$180,000 and ASHP offers a comprehensive benefits plan. What You'll Be Doing

    Manage and grow data analytics department as needed to fulfill ASHP's Strategic and Operational Goals.
  • Supervise analytics platforms and tools such as Acumen, Google Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau to enhance reporting with specific KPIs and data visualization.
  • Work closely with IT and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate data capture, infrastructure, and integrity for analytics tools such as Tealium and Google Analytics are set up.
  • Advance analytics maturity within ASHP by improving access and utilizing platforms and tools to share new insights for the organization.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing and deployment of dashboards, scorecards, reports and alerts/notifications for the presentation of business metrics according to business user requirements.
  • Serve as campaign strategist, partnering with marketing managers to measure impact of campaigns, identifying growth opportunities, key audience segments and new learnings.
  • Analyze ASHP products and services by identifying customer profiles, sales trends and other opportunities to cross-promote initiatives.
  • Establish streamlined reports for marketing campaigns, website performance and product analysis to provide a holistic overview of ASHP activity.
  • Champions integration of AI-driven analytics, incorporating advanced AI models, predictive analytics, and automation to drive innovation.
  • Build and communicate the data-driven mission and data roadmap.
  • Supervise and mentor data analytics team members.
  • Increase data adaptation among staff by improved access to data, staff training, and developing data champions in every business unit/department.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to strengthen data capabilities and competencies.
  • Provide data analytics to business owners about products and services so they make data-based decisions and improve business performance.
  • Responsible for product support and maintenance of the data warehouse.
  • Interact with end users and translate business language into technical requirements.
  • Assess the utilization and success of our product offerings and member benefits.


What You Bring to ASHP

  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of products and services that support accreditation services and member needs.
  • Contributes to the planning of residency conferences, education, and other activities at ASHP national meetings and collaborates with ASHP Commission on Credentialing, Pharmacy Technician Accreditation Commission, and other ASHP councils, sections, committees and task forces as needed.
  • Contributes to the revision of accreditation standards and regulations.
  • Suggests improvements in accreditation procedures, processes and cost controls.
  • Develop and distribute monthly reports tracking key metrics
  • Create clear, well-supported, data-driven recommendations by non-technical audiences and present results to internal stakeholders
  • Continually look at the environment to challenge our assumptions around new sources of data, tools, potential partners, etc.
