Engineering Group Lead- E-Motor The Engineering Group Lead is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting electric motor (E-Motor) stator and rotor assembly processes in the Kokomo, Indiana area. This role ensures the successful development, launch, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes that meet Stellantis' standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Main responsibilities include: * Lead the development, launch, and lifecycle management of manufacturing processes for electric motor components (e.g., stator and rotor assembly). * Champion the Stellantis Production Way (SPW) by coaching teams, driving continuous improvement, and applying advanced problem-solving techniques. * Analyze and present complex data to all organizational levels in clear, actionable formats. * Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. * Manage procurement, installation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. * Conduct process changes assessments and cost studies to support investment decisions. * Drive standardization of manufacturing processes across regional plants. * Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to cross-functional teams and management. * Collaborate with engineering, operations, and global teams to ensure successful program execution. * Demonstrate flexibility to support multiple shifts and travel domestically and internationally as needed. * Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level for reporting and presentations Specific E-motor skill sets: Experience in high volume electrical motor manufacturing including: STATOR: * Paper folding/slot insertion * Winding experience for stators - Hair-pin forming/bending experience preferred * Laser welding copper (hair-pins and buss-bars) * Impregnation/trickling of stator windings * Electrical testing of finished stator ROTOR: * Magnet insertion * Assembly of rotor including segment stacks to rotor shaft * Transfer molding / epoxy bonding for magnets as well as mechanical magnet retention Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical experience * Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience * Minimum of 3 years' experience with electric hairpin stator and rotor manufacturing. * Leadership experience working in cross function teams * Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to travel both domestically and internationally * Microsoft Office experience and intermediate experience with PowerPoint and Excel. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in engineering or MBA * Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation * Powertrain Manufacturing experience a plus * Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning is a plus.
