Sr. Packaging & Pricing Analyst (Remote Eligible)

We are looking for someone to help usher in our next major phase of growth by taking our packaging and pricing strategies to the next level. This role is in the Product organization and focused on product monetization via packaging and pricing to maximize customer lifetime value. It will partner closely with product teams to understand their product strategies, develop packaging and pricing options and recommendations for senior leaders, and then assist working cross-functionally to implement them.

You will report to the Senior Director of Product, Packaging and Pricing, and can be based in our Bellevue, WA office or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You Will:



  • Understand product value proposition(s) to customers and the product team's multi-phase delivery plans to assist in developing packaging and pricing plans that are durable and support Smartsheet's growth
  • Analyze current pricing strategies and help develop options to optimize bookings, revenue growth, and profitability
  • Use data analysis and visualization tools to generate insight on Smartsheet's business performance and opportunities for improvement related to the packaging and pricing of our offerings
  • Develop analytical approaches to assess the potential impact of packaging and pricing changes using Excel and other tools to model financial impact and understand the most important assumptions and variables to propose target metrics
  • Analyze historical and current pricing approaches to identify issues and develop approaches to address these issues, working cross-functionally to develop plans and drive them to resolution
  • Evaluate and review market and competitive data to perform competitive packaging and pricing analysis
  • Conduct external qualitative and quantitative research (MaxDiff, Conjoint)
  • Represent the results of your analysis to cross-functional executive audiences
  • Engage & partner cross-functionally to understand business goals and support pricing and packaging processes and business alignment
  • Assist in the development and documentation of Packaging and Pricing procedures, processes, and policy
  • Manage the Packaging and Pricing Rhythm of the Business


You have:



  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting, finance, product management, or related role
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in economics, statistics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with data reporting / visualization tools
  • Excel/modeling skills including use of formulas, pivot tables and Macros
  • Ability to research and learn new approaches to business problems
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.

US Base Salary Pay Range
$92,500 $126,250 USD
