Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring a dependable Hose Builder to support our Parts and Service Departments in Hempstead, TX. Note: This role will be based at our new Hempstead location, opening later in 2025! Training and onboarding will take place at our Headquarters in Houston, TX until the new facility is ready.

What You'll Do as a Hose Builder:

As a Hydraulic Hose Builder, your primary responsibility is to build, test, and organize hydraulic hoses that keep construction and industrial machinery running strong. Key duties include:

• Assemble hydraulic hoses and fittings according to precise specifications
• Inspect and pressure test completed hose assemblies for safety and quality
• Maintain and replenish inventory of hose components and fittings
• Support internal service orders and walk-in customer requests
• Collaborate with parts counter staff to ensure timely service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with all company policies

Hose Builder Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
• Keen attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout the shift
• Professional team communication skills
• Prior hydraulic or hose assembly experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Training will be conducted at our Houston, TX Headquarters, 12800 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77040, until the Hempstead location opens later in 2025.
