Specialist, Program Access

Position Summary:

The Program Access Specialist serves as an information hub and provides general information about Services and Programs. The Program Access Specialist is often the first point of contact for inquiries from the community regarding Services & Programs and/or other community information and resources.

Day in the life: In a typical day the Program Access Specialist....

• Services & Programs Inquiries: Manages and supports community members with inquiries regarding referrals and access to Services and Programs offered and other community resources.
• Data Entry, Record Keeping and Reporting: Manages all program access data and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
• Services & Programs Information Management: Compiles and maintains up to date Services & Programs information to provide accurate information when responding to inquiries.

Job Pay and Perks:

• Pay Range: $27.38-$37.04 per hour
• This is a flexible-hybrid role that must be based in the Twin Cities 7 County Metropolitan Area, whose essential functions allow the employee to primarily work from a personal home office but also require the employee to work at a physical GESMN or partner facility as business needs require, sometimes with great urgency and little notice.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

*Advanced competence using Microsoft Office applications and a variety of other online systems and platforms.
*Effective verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals with varying backgrounds and abilities.
*Knowledge of employment, training and community services and resources.
*Consistent attention to detail and record keeping skills.

Prior Experience & Education:

*1-3 Years of relevant experience required
*High school diploma or equivalent preferred
