Production Planner - Temporary

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager temporary Planner Scheduler. This role provides support to planning and scheduling functions for manufacturing equipment and inventory requirements. Location: In office, Owatonna MN.

This is a 6 month temporary role.

What you will do:

• Provides administrative support to production and inventory control functions
• Reviews completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders
• May contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates
• May maintain electronic and or paper files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
• May prepare materials and supplies purchase orders. Analyzes quotes and expedites deliveries and shipments as needed
• May process change orders, notifies vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, contacts vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials
• May provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders
• Provides input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested. Assists with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent
• 1 year of related experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Pay Transparency:

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $19.38-29.95 in MN. This represents the pay for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
