Director, Finance Optimization

We're seeking a visionary Director of Finance Optimization to be the driving force behind the complete redesign and reimplementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).

In this role, you won't just be overseeing an ERP project-you'll be architecting a unified financial ecosystem by consolidating multiple ERP systems into one powerful D365 platform. Your leadership will fuel efficiency, sharpen data integrity, and establish the scalable financial infrastructure our business needs to thrive.

$120,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience & education; may be offered at different levels)

What You'll Own & Drive

ERP Strategy & Leadership

• Serve as the finance solution lead for the D365 F&O redesign and rollout.

• Deliver on a strategic roadmap to merge disparate ERP systems into a single, cohesive D365 instance.

• Oversee implementation, daily execution, rigorous testing, and ongoing post-go-live optimization.

Process Optimization & Redesign

• Audit and analyze financial and business processes across accounting, supply chain, sales, and operations to assess impact.

• Pinpoint inefficiencies and gaps, then architect best-in-class processes leveraging the full power of D365.

• Align all changes to business goals, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Implementation & Migration

• Partner with cross-functional teams to hit key project milestones on time and within budget.

• Lead a data migration strategy that ensures accuracy, completeness, and integrity of every data point.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Work closely with senior leaders in Finance, IT, Operations, and beyond to secure alignment and commitment.

• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for project teams.

Governance & Long-Term Success

• Establish robust governance policies for the D365 environment, safeguarding data quality and security.

• Define the post-launch vision for continuous improvement, system enhancements, and performance tracking through KPIs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years in leadership focused on financial systems/process transformation.

• Proven success leading large-scale ERP implementations-Microsoft D365 F&O experience strongly preferred.

• Expertise in core financial processes: General Ledger, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting.

• Strong IT systems knowledge, including data migration and integration best practices.

• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills-you influence, inspire, and build consensus.

• Change management expertise with a track record of driving adoption and embedding new processes.
