The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Community Partnerships & Investments (CPI) Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the CPI team by coordinating meetings, managing data and communications, and assisting with the planning of partnership events. This role supports the implementation of strategies that foster long-term partnerships and impactful investments aligned with WWP's mission. The CPI Coordinator helps streamline processes and facilitates collaboration both internally and with external partners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the CPI team in executing and implementing strategies that promote long-lasting partnerships and impactful investments.

  • Track compile, and synthesize data and information from grantees and partners; prepare reports for leadership.

  • Coordinate and track calls and meetings with grantees and potential partners; create summaries and monitor team follow-ups.

  • Assist the CPI team in planning and implementing the biennial Partnership Convening and similar events; maintain event calendars and support content development for related marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, and leadership briefings.

  • Monitor and manage the CPI inbox, respond to partnership inquiries, and ensure they are routed to the appropriate WWP teammate(s).

  • Work within the grants database to input and update information as needed.

  • Maintain CPI's internal communications page by keeping materials current, highlighting partnerships, and drafting written updates and partner features for the team as needed.

  • Maintain awareness of trends, best practices, and innovations within the MSO and VSO communities to support CPI team initiatives, inform team discussions, and help identify relevant partners or community needs.

  • Assist with the proposal and investment process by coordinating the collection of required documentation, supporting grantees with proposal logistics, and helping compile information needed for due diligence reviews.

  • Coordinate with program teammates to support the referral process and assist with the tracking and documentation of innovative initiatives and potential partnerships aligned with investment goals.

  • Assist with specialist projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Skilled in internet navigation and online research; proficient in data entry and database usage.

  • Basic understanding of program and project management principles, including the ability to track progress, analyze outcomes, and support reporting on impact.

  • High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels of an organization and to build successful, effective partnerships.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive matters with diplomacy, empathy, and confidentiality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to effectively engage with teammates on day-to-day operations and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Ability to maintain awareness of the needs, concerns, and issues within military service organization (MSO) and veteran service organization (VSO) communities.

EXPERIENCE

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in a non-profit organization, government agency, or a for-profit organization with direct ties to the military or veteran community.

Preferences

  • Three years of experience working in a nonprofit organization.

  • Two years of experience in grant-making, data analytics, and/or meeting and event planning.

  • Two years of experience working with Salesforce.

  • Experience in the military or working with military or veteran service organizations.

EDUCATION

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, business, management, communication, or a related field.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire.

Preferences

  • ASIST Certification.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • General office environment; temperature controlled.

  • Up to 15% travel.

For Chicago Illinois Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $50,489 - $63,112 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.

For Washington, D.C. Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $52,684 - $65,856 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
