This position directs, plans, and coordinates all laboratory services in support of quality laboratory service and the hospital's mission of patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Science) or related field. 3. Must possess current license as required by state board where services will be provided: WV: Medical Laboratory Scientist License PA: No State License Required OH: No State License Required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Management or related field. Provides medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products and services by establishing specimen preparation procedures; developing and implementing analytical procedures; evaluating laboratory information; consulting with pathologists; reporting results according to protocols mandated by the Hospital and Accrediting Agencies.
