Job Description

This Graphic Designer will be part of a creative services team supporting the design and creative direction efforts. The creative team develops a variety of print and internal / external marketing collateral for the payments industry across all channels, digital and print. All creative efforts are coordinated with the client to maintain the integrity of the approved designs and themes. The Graphic Designer must be passionate about design, consumer trends and a forward-thinking individual looking for new and innovate ways to deliver ideas to our client. Strong Figma skills are required for this position as well as the Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • The Graphic Designer will collaborate with and work under supervision of the Creative Director to execute 3000+ creative projects per year to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the client.
  • The Graphic Designer should be adept at driving/growing relationships with all levels of the leadership team in a fast-paced environment eager to tackle every project no matter how large or small leveraging design to translate complex marketing solutions.
  • Develops and prepares creative deliverables in collaboration with other creative team members.
  • Follows projects throughout all stages of print production and/or online deployment.
  • Interacts regularly with creative leadership, client partners and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects.
  • Takes ownership, participates in project initiatives and successfully executes through all stages of creative development on target, on time and on budget.
  • Understanding of the client's design needs and methodology.
  • Provides production support to produce technically correct, print ready mechanicals for release.
  • Interprets marketing ideas and turns them into visual reality at a world-class level.
  • Responsive to management and creative feedback with the ability grow comprehensive professional and design skills.
  • Solves business challenges through smart creative design.
  • Maintain and elevate client brand awareness with prospective and core customer base.
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Effectively communicates with leadership regarding situations that require decisions, actions and may include problems.
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Possesses a strong developing portfolio of imaginative work
  • Well versed on Macintosh platform and industry standard applications: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Organized self-starter with strong time/project management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build/maintain strong and effective client and internal team relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen and understand client needs to effectively execute the work.
  • Convey needs, ideas, and opinions clearly to others while projecting credibility, poise, and confidence.
  • Thirst for learning and developing as a graphic designer.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $59,100-89,800 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
