Job Mission

The DUV Operations Platform Manager will lead the implementation and industrialization of assigned modules within the Wilton Factory. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the designated platform, reporting on production readiness, industrialization plans, prototype schedules, and cost estimates to senior leadership.

The manager will lead cross-functional, matrixed teams to develop and execute comprehensive product roadmaps aimed at achieving key manufacturing KPIs such as move rate capability, cycle time, and labor efficiency. The role also involves identifying and escalating critical production issues, driving resolution efforts, and ensuring output recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and report on module output performance, including cost of goods, labor hours, cycle time, and on-time delivery.

  • Identify and escalate output-limiting issues and risks to program introduction.

  • Drive strategic progress toward preferred delivery models and dual production initiatives.

  • Manage production transfers between factories (e.g., XT 860N platform).

  • Support onboarding of new production into the Wilton Factory.

  • Develop facility expansion plans as needed to support new projects.

  • Communicate clear, actionable plans to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Manage a team of direct reports and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

  • Summarize capital and headcount needs, focusing on cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and the manufacturing roadmap.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma manufacturing methodologies.

  • Proven project management and leadership experience.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels in a matrixed organization.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.

  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers at both technical and task management levels.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Occasional movement around the campus and travel as needed.

  • Ability to work under deadlines in a moderately noisy environment.

  • Must be able to read and interpret data and documents, and interact effectively with others.

  • Occasional work in a cleanroom environment, requiring full gowning (coveralls, hood, safety shoes, face mask, gloves, safety glasses).

  • Potential exposure to overhead cranes, forklifts, lasers, strong magnetic fields, high voltage, and currents.

  • Must be able to learn and apply new information and skills.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.).
