About the Team

You will be an important member of the team responsible for global Treasury operations at this highly regarded Fortune 500 company. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and not afraid of new challenges and opportunities. At Williams-Sonoma, the Treasury team manages, protects, and optimizes the company's cash. You will be part of a small and dynamic team with opportunities to learn and explore all facets of treasury. This role is based in San Francisco.

About the Role

The Senior Treasury Analyst's role will support daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and bank account administration. This role requires collaboration with internal business partners to ensure accurate treasury reporting, compliance with internal controls, and assisting with treasury projects to optimize cash flow and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the company's daily cash position and cash flow forecast

  • Manage excess cash and maximize return on investments in compliance with investment policy

  • Maintain schedules related to the company's share repurchase program
  • Perform core Treasury related activities such as initiating wire transfers and month-end close processes
  • Manage bank account structure, authorized signatory records, and online banking services

  • Administer user access for online banking portals in accordance with the company's policies

  • Assist in automating treasury functions and improving internal controls by leveraging Treasury Management System (Kyriba).

  • Assist with our global portfolio of stores, including but not limited to:
    • Manage the banking requirements for new and existing stores
    • Manage the courier service and all store depository needs of our stores
  • Assist with quarterly and annual schedules for audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

  • Track and monitor key treasury metrics and KPIs and assist with preparation of treasury dashboards
  • Track and monitor FX exposures
  • Assist with cash repatriation initiatives
  • Assist with process documentation and process improvement
  • Recommend and implement treasury best practice to improve efficiency and reduce cost
  • Provide support to a variety of treasury-related functions and serve as back up for other team members

Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Treasury or Finance strongly preferred
  • Prior related finance work experience (5+ years)
  • Strong desire to develop professional skills and advance career
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Prior experience with a Treasury Management System (Kyriba) strongly desired
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Essbase a plus
  • Possess quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with intellectual curiosity and a bias for action
  • A team player with a strong work ethic with confidence and ability to work independently
  • Unquestioned attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A resourceful and creative problem solver with excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to provide sound financial and business judgment, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced/deadline-oriented environment
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $85,000-$90,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
