Job Overview
Reports to: Chemical Maintenance Technician Reports to: OHS and Facility Manager Location: Kent, WA Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly) Schedule: 1st Shift; Overtime may be required (extended shifts and/or weekends); On-Call is <5%. Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Job Summary Employees in this position are responsible for providing support to the production departments by keeping the process solutions in specification by making chemical additions or bath replacements. This position also maintains environmental compliance by wastewater treatment and proper preparation and storage of hazardous materials for proper off-site disposal. Responsibilities

Essential Mental/Physical Demands
Hearing protection required when working in the area. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and fumes from metal finishing chemicals. Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment is required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and respirator (provided by Company). Salary Range: $25.00 - $46.00 per hour. *Hourly rate is DOE, dependent upon years of experience in industrial waste management and/or experience with highest level educational background.
