Job Description:

The QC Scientist III performs the analysis on allergenic and client components, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following written procedures, providing the data required to determine raw material, product disposition.

1. Analyze raw materials, in-process, stability and final container products according to established procedures and as directed by the supervisor.
2. Records and reviews data in accordance with GxP to meet regulatory requirements and provide information relevant to product disposition.
3. Perform studies to assess product or procedural problems.
4. Assist in other forms of troubleshooting/investigations as directed.
5. Prepares reports and assist with document creation/revisions.
6. Maintain training compliance on all procedures.
7. Adhere to all aspects of plant safety programs and in keeping with GMP's or other regulations.
8. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment in accordance with procedure.
9. Participate in direct internal and/or external client interactions.
10. Demonstrate QC leadership within the department and outside the department as needed.
11. Demonstrate technical expertise and assist in training exercises.
12. Suggest pathways for improvement of processes and procedures, and suggest resolution on issues such as unexpected results.
13. Perform special assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related hard science required
• 3 years lab experience required
• 3 years pharmaceutical experience desired
• Functional Expert in MS Word, MS Excel and Manual Dexterity require
• Must have an ability to utilize scientific literature, and to make effective written and oral reports that are clear, accurate, and logical.
• Knowledge of chemistry, statistics, computer-assisted data processing, and good-manufacturing practices is desirable.
• Ability to lift [25] pounds unassisted required
• Exposure to allergens required
• Repetitive activity and prolonged sitting/standing required

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

• Hiring Wage: $ 77,968.80- $ 101,200 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
