Position Title: Manager, Compensation and Benefits Reporting Manager Title: VP, Human Resources Work Arrangement: Hybrid Position Summary: The Manager of Compensation and Benefits plays a key leadership role in shaping and executing TDECU's total rewards strategy. As a trusted advisor, this role leads compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs that support organizational goals, attract and retain top talent, and ensure pay equity and market competitiveness. This leader blends strategic insight with hands-on program management to drive value across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy & Program Design
- Lead the design and implementation of compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs aligned to business and talent strategies.
- Maintain a forward-looking roadmap for total rewards programs.
- Develop job architecture, pay structures, and incentive programs to support growth and performance.
- Administer the employee recognition platform and lead wellness program events to promote employee health and well-being and increase engagement.
Analytics & Compliance
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Monitor trends, regulations, and risks related to pay and benefits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
- Track and analyze total rewards programs performance and provide actionable insights through data and dashboards to support decision-making.
Advisory & Collaboration
- Advise the CHCO, HR Business Partners, and leaders on pay and benefits program design and decisions.
- Educate leaders on compensation philosophy and practices, and the value and benefits delivered through all total rewards programs.
- Support workforce planning, recruiting, and retention through tailored compensation strategies.
Operations & Systems
- Manage annual merit, bonus, and benefits cycles.
- Oversee compensation data and structures in Workday, partnering with HRIS.
- Lead survey participation, job evaluations, and program administration, using survey data systems for efficiency.
- Manage the recognition platform activities and ensure the program is funded timely and appropriately.
M&A and Change Management
- Support integration of compensation and benefits in M&A or restructuring initiatives, ensuring compliance across various geographies.
- Conduct due diligence and lead total rewards harmonization efforts.
Vendor Management
- Facilitate total rewards vendor selection. Evaluate vendor services, rates, terms and conditions, and guide the decision-making process.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance by reviewing data, conducting audits, and collecting employee feedback.

- 7+ years Compensation or Total Rewards; 5+ years of compensation analysis required.
- 7+ years Benefits experience required.
- Workday Compensation experience required.
- 5+ years previous Management experience required.
- M&A experience preferred.
