Job Description |
The
ECU Graduate School is currently seeking a motivated and professional office assistant to support the Graduate School Admissions Office. This position involves a variety of administrative and outreach tasks essential to the successful operation of our admissions and recruitment efforts.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with the organization and processing of admission applications, including document imaging, scanning, indexing, and electronic storage
- Answering phones and responding to emails
- Filing, copying, and other general clerical responsibilities
- Assisting with calling prospective students and text message campaigns
- Giving campus tours to prospective graduate students
- Staffing the Mendenhall lobby and the Graduate School welcome reception desk as needed
- Assisting with social media campaigns and digital outreach
- Supporting in-person recruiting events (e.g., Grad School Fair)
- Assisting with Graduate School-sponsored events such as 3MT (Three Minute Thesis), RCAW (Research & Creative Achievement Week), and others

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) |
Preferably with a background in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education, Psychology or Sociology |
