As a Maintenance Laborer, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting mining operations through physical labor and teamwork. Key responsibilities include sample collection, trench work, and pipe installation, all while helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a high-performing crew.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support mining operations by performing tasks as part of the labor crew

  • Assist with sample collection, pipe installation, and trench backfilling

  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation

  • Collaborate professionally and clearly with team members

  • Promote safety and productivity by following all company, client, and regulatory safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Mining experience is an asset

  • Understanding of mining safety practices and MSHA regulations

  • MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred

  • Must possess valid drivers license

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and alcohol screening

Work Conditions:

  • Overtime availability may be necessary
