We seek solutions that are sustainable, transformative, and inclusive with an eye toward applying technology innovations as well as data evidence to drive change in the world's developing countries.The Agricultural Development (AgDev) program strategy team (PST) aims to catalyze country-led, inclusive, agricultural transformation (IAT) by developing and scaling products, services, policies, and system-wide innovations that benefit small scale producers, empower women, and improve nutritional outcomes. We want farmers in Sub- Saharan Africa (SSA) and South Asia (SA) to be empowered with the knowledge, tools, and technologies to improve their livelihoods and lift themselves and their families out of poverty. This position sits with in the Strategy, Planning and Management (SPM) team in AgDev which plays a central role in driving strategic clarity, operational alignment, and division-wide learning. The team leads annual strategy reviews, anchors the design and delivery of cross-cutting initiatives-including Big Bets-and supports core business functions such as resource planning and rhythms of business. The team also houses the Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) function, which ensures evidence and insights inform investment decisions and continuously improve delivery. SPM ensures strong connections with AgDev's strategic goals with day-to-day execution, enabling the division to deliver greater impact with discipline and agility. Your Role The Senior Officer for Insights & Learning is responsible for implementation of AgDev's learning strategy in line with the PST's measurement, learning and evaluation (MLE) strategy. In this position, you will work directly with colleagues in the SPM team and across AgDev to generate, synthesize, and share insights from a rigorous program of research and evaluation to inform and improve strategy and programs. The goal of your work is to inform decision making and improve strategy, programs, policies, and practices, by strengthening the learning ecosystem and expand AgDev's evidence base through improved knowledge management, strategic learning and analysis. You support using insights to inform strategy by generating actionable insights, deploying knowledge management systems and learning tools, and developing high-quality, engaging learning experiences for the team. You can think creatively and apply innovative tools and technologies to the role. *This 11 month role is based in Seattle, WA. Visa Sponsorship and Relocation are NOT provided for this role. Your Experience
*Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship. The salary range for this role is $169,700 to $254,500 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $185,000 to $277,400 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary range between the minimum and the midpoint salary range.
