Sustainment Collective Training Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a Sustainment and Logistics Planner on a team that performs advanced analytical and technical scenario design and planning tasks in support of collective training operations. Assist in the development of Operational Environments and Scenarios from the theater to brigade levels. Develop Army Sustainment Operation Orders and Annexes, digital and analog graphics, and exercise materials to support a United States Army exercise program. Attend planning workshops to develop and assist in the development of sustainment products and concepts. Assist and advise sustainment commanders and staffs during exercise planning and execution. Assist in the development of and participate in the sustainment of Higher, Adjacent, Lower, Supporting, and Supported response cells during exercise execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in Army Sustainment
• 5+ years of experience training military units or planning military exercises
• Experience serving on Brigade level staffs
• Experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail when performing tasks
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current Joint and Army doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and force structure
• Knowledge of Army training database systems, including FMSWeb and Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS)
• Knowledge of the Decisive Action Training Environment

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
