This position will report to the UME vice dean and serve as
a member of the College of Medicine - Phoenix (COM-P) UME leadership team. The associate
dean of Educational Affairs will have responsibility for development and
implementation of curricular and non-curricular elements that span all four

system based foundational sciences, early primary care and specialty
experiences for students, traditional clerkships, longitudinal integrated clerkships,

their specialty. If applicable, a nonclinical PhD candidate will be appointed
at 1.0 FTE. The candidate must fulfill the responsibilities of a faculty member
