We place strong emphasis on programs, processes, and activities that enhance the employee experience, improve efficiency, celebrate participation, partnership, and engagement, and support the institutional image of the College of Science. COS HR manages and oversees all aspects of a college's human resources operations, including recruiting; advising staff, faculty, and senior leadership on university policy and processes; and serving as the college liaison with Central university offices. About the Position: The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support in the Human Resources office for the College of Science. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient HR operations for a large college within a research-intensive (R1) institution. The Human Resources Assistant manages day-to-day activities, assists with HR processes, and supports the coordination of personnel actions for faculty, staff, student employees, and temporary employees. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment. This position is not benefits-eligible due to part-time status.
