Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Requirements: Ability to build and maintain data and reporting environments Primarily building an SQL environment with proficiency in other reporting tools such as Access, Tableau, Excel, etc. Able to think independently as well as self-solve project issues and business requirements using resources available to them including but not limited to peers, documentation, tools in which they have access Strong communication and written skills as well as ability to interact professionally with leaders of all levels as well as with their peers Ability to self-manage tasks but know when to reach out to peers and managers for assistance Microsoft SSIS MS SQL Server (Database and Table Design, Reporting) Proficient in writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views Data Analysis (File compares, data source analysis) Excel Reporting (Pivots, Charts, Slicers, linking to External Data Sources) MS Access (Database and Table Design, Macros, Reporting) Comfortable troubleshooting existing code Strong hands-on experience using SQL Server Management Studio Experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages in Visual Studio Desired skills: VB Script (Task Automation, Implementing VBA Modules with Access or MS SQL Server) Tableau Development SharePoint (create and modify SharePoint lists) PowerPoint (create PowerPoint slides and presentations, user guides) Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
