Position Description

To accomplish our mission, LISC provides various financing products to a wide array of project types. This role will support the Asset Management function for programs supporting both real estate and business assets.

The position proactively engages with borrowers in order to avert issues that may affect the performance of LISC investments. More specifically, the Asset Manager will support clients, focusing on the timely collection of repayments, documentation, and reports. In addition, the role will support the financial and impact performance data and portfolio tracking of the Innovative Investment team. The Asset Manager will be expected to work closely with LISC team members, departments, and partners.The ideal candidate will have experience working effectively with ethnically, culturally, and socio-economically diverse communities and the businesses that serve them.

Responsibilities



  • Directly interface with clients and collaborative work with local and national staff to support repayments and collection of required documents.
  • Implement alternative solutions when milestones are not met; Prepare and process required documentation to amend, restructure, or write off transactions.
  • Adhere to annual deployment and asset management targets.
  • Extract and analyze large data sets; leverage data to monitor portfolio performance, deployment targets, and trends.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, spreadsheets, charts and presentations on the product portfolio.
  • Work to ensure data portfolio quality and maintain activity in Salesforce and other software systems.House all documentation in appropriate repositories.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements and new product rollouts.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as required.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or requisite relevant work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of non-consumer lending experience, preferably in banking industry or community development finance.
  • Ability to execute asset management solutions to client accounts in accordance with client plans.
  • Ability to interpret loan documentation related to repayment provisions, reporting requirements, and default
  • Experience with defaults and workouts.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including creating complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, charts, graphs, and performing data validation.
  • Extremely detailed oriented and able to self-manage daily activities and
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Required PC skills include strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus.

Salary

LISC offers a competitive salary of ($81,600-$102,000) commensurate with experience and excellent benefits
