JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State University Great Valley Library seeks a part-time Library Assistant to work at the Circulation Desk. Job duties to include: Assist employees, students, and the community in the use of the library, including library equipment. Perform basic circulation functions such as registering borrowers, charging and discharging library materials, locating library materials online, and answering questions. Answer basic questions at the service desk. Provide basic assistance with technology and computing. Reserve group study rooms for students and employees. Assist with other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned. The position is typically scheduled for 8 hours per week but up to 24 hours on Monday-Friday. Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $15 an hour.
