Tesla sets the bar for a trustworthy & resilient charging network. The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.

The Tesla Diner Logistics Specialist is a member of the Charging Operations team, responsible for leading merchandise sales at our new diner in Los Angeles, CA. We launched our diner July 2025, which is home to 250+ occupant dining, drive-in movie screens, and 80 supercharger stalls open to all NACs-compatible electric vehicles, providing an unparalleled and immersive customer experience for charging, dining, and entertainment.

This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA and must be available to work occasional weekends and holidays.


What You'll Do
  • Represent Tesla at our highly visited location and drive merchandise sales
  • Analyze sales, demand trends, profitability, and performance metrics; select and organize products accordingly
  • Track inventory levels, forecast needs, and minimize overstock/understock scenarios
  • Utilize sales metrics to report on pricing, plan promotions, and partner with design and marketing teams for strategic alignment
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for our Operator team, focusing on loss prevention, sales optimization, and organizational excellence
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving, manage all warehouse inventory and onsite logistics

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years in merchandising, sales, retail analytics, or equivalent experience
  • Must thrive in a high-volume environment with frequent interaction
  • Proficiency in Excel or equivalent merchandising software systems
  • Strong and proven attention to detail, organization, and effective communication with an upbeat, positive demeanor
  • Analytical mindset for sales forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Must be physically able to frequently lift and unpack heavy boxes, and ascend and descend a ladder to access merchandise

    Expected Compensation
    $64,600 - $142,500/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
