Overview

Subject-matter expert in anti-financial crime (AFC) responsible for executing the Affiliate Risk Management Program. The Program is designed to identify, assess, and mitigate the financial crime risk a Deutsche Bank affiliate and its customers present to US legal entities through US dollar clearing. The role holder requires a strong AFC and government or regulatory background, and excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in managing the Affiliate ICE escalation process and escalate material issues to the Affiliate Risk Oversight Forum

  • Oversee execution of the quarterly affiliate attestation process

  • Propose action plans to senior management to reduce inherent risk exposures or improve the control environment

  • Develop and deliver training to impacted staff in the Deutsche Bank affiliates

  • Maintain affiliate risk management policies and procedures

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; JD or MBA a plus

  • Relevant experience within the AFC function or in business line roles supporting the AFC program

  • Knowledge of bank customers, products, and services

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience with any of the AFC programs (anti-money laundering (AML) Investigations, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud)

  • An articulate and effective speaker and presenter

  • Ability to act decisively and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Robust, credible and organizationally savvy, with an ability to grasp complex issues quickly

  • Able to work independently to manage projects and deliverables to completion

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $78,000 to $111,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
