Summary:

In this role, you will support Service Line research to enhance client support, data analysis, and content development for Health Systems and Life Sciences organizations with a focus on Cardiovascular services. You will track, research, and translate national and market level trends, technological advancements, and novel care delivery models to develop successful future-focused strategies. You will create market leading, future focused, and novel content that engages clients and provides them with insights needed to remain successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate analytics and healthcare trends into actionable products, deliverables, and experiences to empower clients to anticipate change, inform decision-making, and achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Synthesize research and data analyses into relevant service line impacts to the annual update to Sg2's analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model.
  • Identify strategic issues and develop solutions to help clients explore and understand their business challenges and future needs.
  • Collaborate with Sg2 service line and enterprise subject matter experts, analytics experts, and client account teams to provide high-quality, timely responses to client hospitals, health systems, and life sciences companies, and internal colleagues through written materials, presentations, podcasts, video, client onsite visits, and meeting facilitation.
  • Leverage industry experience, knowledge of emerging trends and the company's perspective to provide recommendations that address clients' needs.
  • Leverage strong research skills and an ability to assess service line operations and clinical care delivery models, synthesize health policy reports and industry trends, interpret scientific literature and clinical research studies, and analyze large data sets.
  • Create and deliver presentations and facilitate in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to explore large, disparate, and dynamic data sources including Vizient/Sg2 and external sources to develop analytical solutions and insights across multiple service lines.
  • Bring creativity, objectivity, an open mind, and rigor to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.Advanced degree in applied healthcare, research, or fields such as clinical services, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, or health/business administration highly preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in a health system, provider clinic, life sciences organization, or research capacity is required.
  • Advanced skills with analytics tools, comfort with AI, and strong data visualization skills including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and ChatGPT required.
  • Knowledge of supplier and life sciences perspectives required.
  • Experience in Service Lines, as well as hospital operations or clinical experience required.
  • Proficiency in service lines, particularly Cardiovascular Services highly preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare data within a hospital, healthcare payer, or life sciences company preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and achieve high levels of productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
