Opportunity Overview: Long-term contracts, Idaho, Michigan. The Training Instructor is onsite. Candidates will report to the site Program director. Your Day-to-Day: Develop and deliver classroom, simulator, and on-the-job training for nuclear plant personnel (e.g., operators, technicians, engineers). Maintain training materials in compliance with INPO, NRC, and site-specific requirements. Conduct evaluations, exams, and performance assessments to ensure knowledge retention and skill proficiency. Participate in the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7 years' experience in a nuclear facility (e.g., licensed operator, maintenance, engineering). Knowledge of nuclear plant systems, operations, and safety protocols. NRC Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license (preferred for operations instructors). The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80/hour to $110/hour.
