Overview R&P is looking for a mid-level Amphibious Ship Design Machinery Engineer who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an engineer with a minimum of 4-years experience who is ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment supporting the system safety engineering aspects in support of the U.S. Navy's Amphibious Warship design team. Responsibilities Provides technical support to the LPD Machinery SEM Lead on control and electrical distribution systems including but not limited to: Ship Control System (SCS), Machinery Control System (MCS), Engineering Control System (ECS), and Damage Control (DC) Systems.
