Position Title: Vice President of Sales & Marketing - B2B Contract Manufacturing
Wage: Based on Experience An established B2B contract manufacturer in Richfield, WI serving tier-1 and tier-2 OEMs across the medical, electrical switchgear, defense, and oil & gas sectors is seeking a strategic and results-driven VP of Sales & Marketing. This newly established role for this small manufacturer (under $50M) will lead growth initiatives by developing deep customer relationships, driving solution-based selling, and leveraging market insights. This is a direct hire position with up to 35% travel to locations and industry events. While onsite or hybrid work schedule is preferred, they may consider remote for the right candidate. A base salary + incentive program tied to revenue growth is offered. VP of Sales / Marketing Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to expand OEM partnerships - Lead a high-performing sales team focused on engineering-driven, long-cycle sales - Identify and close complex, multi-year contract manufacturing agreements - Define and communicate a strong value proposition emphasizing engineering support, quality systems (ISO, ITAR), and scalable manufacturing - Position the company as a strategic partner through digital marketing, trade shows, and technical content - Penetrate and grow key OEM accounts by engaging stakeholders across engineering, operations, and supply chain - Monitor industry trends and shifts in OEM sourcing strategies to guide sales focus - Oversee onboarding and early-stage engagement to align customer expectations with capabilities - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales commitments align with production, quality, and cost parameters - Represent the customer voice in planning, capital investments, and new product introductions - Build and scale a sales and marketing organization aligned with long-term growth objectives Requirements for VP of Sales / Marketing: - 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales and marketing within manufacturing, preferably in contract manufacturing or capital equipment - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business; MBA preferred - Proven success in selling to OEMs, managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and multi-year contracts - Strong understanding of technical manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, assembly, metal fabrication, electronics integration) - Familiarity with quality, regulatory, and operational standards in industrial or capital equipment environments - Experience with ERP/CRM systems and sales tools - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills If interested in this VP of Sales & Marketing position, please send resume to joann.klavekoske@acceleratepros.com.
