Security Professional - Education Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Education Site Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. This post requires driving as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Assist in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and attentive patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
