SITEC - Systems Architect (Mobility) - MacDill AFB

Peraton requires Systems Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

As a Systems Architect specializing in Mobility, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise solutions focused on end-user computing and device management. Your role will involve working closely with enterprise stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and highly efficient workspace environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Intune, modern mobile device architecture, and enterprise mobility management (EMM). Additionally, you will serve as a pivotal member of our SOF Integration Team, supporting Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program customers. This role requires a seasoned professional who will provide expert-level technical design, deployment, and support for secure, high-performance data center systems and virtualization solutions utilizing leading-edge IT technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise-level solutions for Modern Workspace environments, ensuring integration with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and other relevant technologies.
• Design, configure, and implement complex network architectures tailored to warfighter operations, integrating CSfC technologies including VPNs, firewalls, switching, routing, and IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack operations to meet stringent operational and security requirements.
• Act as the top-tier escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CSfC solutions, expertly identifying and resolving complex issues tied to network performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate them into scalable and secure solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of Intune-based device management solutions, ensuring alignment with client security, compliance, and user experience goals.
• Conduct assessments of current IT infrastructures and create roadmaps for modernizing desktop environments, transitioning to cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and document architecture strategies, deployment plans, and best practices for supporting Microsoft-based workspaces, including provisioning, security, and compliance management.
• Provide mentorship to junior architects and other technical staff, ensuring high-quality delivery of architecture services.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, Microsoft technologies, and best practices related to Modern Workspace, EUC, and Intune.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, deployment, and management of modern workspace solutions.

Collaborate with operational teams to provide ongoing support for Microsoft Intune, including updates, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Requirements:

• Min 14 years with HS degree, 12 years with AS/AA degree, 10 years with BS/BA, 8 years with MS/MA or 5 years PHD
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
• DoD TS/SCI clearance or above is required
• Strong experience in designing and architecting Modern Workspace environments, including the implementation of Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies.
• Deep expertise in End-User Computing (EUC) and modern desktop management, including Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and other related tools.
• Proven experience with cloud-based device management, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 solutions and technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) as they relate to end-user environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system architectures and their integration into enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) strategies to deliver secure cybersecurity solutions leveraging commercial technologies and products to deliver cybersecurity solutions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in creating and implementing enterprise mobility management (EMM) strategies.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructures with cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with wireless vendors (e.g., Cisco, Aruba).
• Strong understanding of network security and authentication protocols.
• Experience with enterprise network environments, SD-WAN, and cloud-based networking.
