Adjunct Instructor - MS in Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering

The MS in Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering program at Thomas Jefferson University invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach graduate-level courses in areas such as upstream and downstream processing, bioprocess design, regulatory compliance, and related topics. Courses are offered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats, depending on program needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with program objectives.

• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments as needed.

• Provide timely feedback and support to graduate students.

• Collaborate with program leadership to ensure course content reflects current industry practices.

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.

• Relevant industry experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or process development strongly preferred.

• Prior teaching or training experience at the graduate or professional level is desirable.

This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position with teaching opportunities on a per-course basis. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
