Manages and supervises specialty radiology procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining a positive patient experience.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
  • Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology MRI team.
  • Assigns tasks and schedules to team members.
  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of the radiology team members. Monitors the quality of MRI images and ensures that they meet the required standards.
  • Trains new team members on MRI procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, and orders as needed.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.


Licensure Requirement:
  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.

Certifications:
  • Advanced Certification in MRI, required.
  • CPR certification, required.

Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Experience:
  • Five years of clinical Radiology experience, required.
  • Three years of experience with cross-sectional anatomy, required.
  • Pediatric experience, preferred.
