Our client in the technology ecommerce space is looking for a UX Research Designer, the role will be 70% research 30% design.

Figma *Description* We are seeking a top-notch UX Researcher/Designer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of eCommerce. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our eCommerce platform by conducting best in class UX Research & creating intuitive, user-centered designs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, developers, and marketers, to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences. Your work will directly impact on customer satisfaction and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for user experience and eCommerce. They should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging designs. The ideal candidate is also a proactive problem solver, a strong communicator, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities include: * * Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions. * Lead the UX research for user interfaces for our eCommerce platform, helping contribute to effective research results in order to create a consistent and cohesive user experience across all touchpoints. * Utilize Design Thinking or other processes to drive thought leadership and work across disciplines to define new user experiences that are innovative, solve real customer problems, and have a significant impact on the business. * Create wireframes, prototypes, and UX designs concepts that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, and marketers, to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical constraints. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and eCommerce. *Qualifications include: * * 5+ years experience in UX research, preferably for eCommerce and/or Digital Experience projects. * Experience with user research, A/B testing and data-driven design. * Strong portfolio showcasing your UX Research & design process and problem-solving skills. * Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders. * Experience with responsive and mobile-first design. * Strong proficiency in Figma.
