The Opportunity:
The Pricing and Contracting Franchise Manager oversees the pricing and contracting negotiations in order to lead teams to create deals that leverage both pricing and contracting strengths appropriately. Responsible for breaking down barriers between the two functions and facilitates cross-training and knowledge sharing.

The Franchise Manager shapes understanding of the financial implications of terms and conditions as well as protecting the organizations contractual posture and adherence to company's position on business terms. Assist the Franchise Sr. Manager in overall operations of the assigned department (s). Contributes and achieves results through the management of subordinates (professional and support staff). Provides leadership to ensure both the franchise and department's objectives and goals are achieved. Has full discretion on all employment decisions for department franchise staff including hiring, training, performance management, and progressive disciplinary actions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities (required):

  • Advocate the business visions of pricing and contracts Senior leaders

  • Ability to interpret terms and conditions in order to articulate and advocate Roche's standard position

  • Understands the needs and priorities of customers within their respective franchise

  • Responsible for ensuring the overall financial and contract integrity of deals.

  • Collaboration with all franchise managers in an effort to manage and support customer request unique to each franchise to minimize risk across all

  • Works very closely with operations excellence team to improve processes and reduce cycle times in deal process

  • Collaboration with operations excellence team to ensure related pricing and contracting documentation, training, and systems support success of pricing and contracting functions

  • Collects and reports out Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

  • Manages escalations where needed

  • Ensure proper policies and procedures are in place that align with franchise strategies and ensure the profitability of each deal negotiated and signed by RDC.

  • Responsible for successful rollout of all pricing and contracting programs and promotions

  • Promotes an environment and culture that encourages team to develop creative strategies to enable the franchise and organization to win profitable deals and grow Roche's market share

  • Highlights areas of synergies between pricing and contracting functions and drives initiatives to support a culture of harmonization

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Market Research, Finance, Mathematics, Science, Business or related field.

  • 5 years of professional business experience

  • 1 year of previous direct or indirect leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as excellent presentation skills.

  • Proficient utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and analytical tools

  • Broad organizational and business knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively use data and data systems to capture and articulate data to key stakeholders and customers

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business trends and contract terms

  • Understanding of risk management and revenue maximization strategies

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is between $120,600 and $224,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below. Benefits
