The Dana-Farber Clinical Information Systems Manager is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and Project Specialists who support day-to-day operations, system upgrades and enhancement projects related to Epic Clinicals, Salesforce CRM and Voalte Communications applications.
This dynamic and pivotal role will engage with other Information Systems teams, Clinical users and vendor liaisons on a regular basis while supporting our mission of providing exceptional patient care and advancing cancer research Essential Functions -Works with Digital director(s) and other senior leaders to establish the Digital team's goals and objectives, often participating in the definition of work products and timelines. -Manages the day-to-day activities of a team of Digital professionals. Focuses on producing the team's deliverables on-time and within budget. -Employs service management, product management and/or project management methodologies to deliver high quality work products. -Consistent with company policies, attracts, retains and develops high quality staff. Establishes and maintains a work environment conducive to high performance. Addresses the training and professional development needs of the staff. -Interacts with clinicians, staff and various levels of management to communicate the status of the team's efforts. -Promotes and encourages a high-quality customer service experience for all customers - internal and external. - Participates in 24/7 on-call support as manager escalation. -Performs all other duties as assigned. Education - Epic certification or experience preferred.
