Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and results drivenDirector of Solutions Marketing & Contentto join our Visa Acceptance Solutions organization. As a key leadership role, you will set the vision, drive execution, and serve as a strategic partner across the business to elevate our B2B marketing efforts, content approaches and solution narratives.There are two core aspects of this leadership role.

Creation, Execution, and Performance of Solution and Campaign Content

You will own and lead the end to end content lifecycle for solution and campaign content across our B2B marketing efforts. This includes setting content strategy, overseeing ideation and development, and ensuring high quality execution and performance of a diverse mix of assets such as blogs, decks, videos, whitepapers, infographics, and more that drive engagement and business results across the buyer's journey. You will provide direction and mentorship to team members and collaborate with marketing, sales, product, design, and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging, operational excellence, and measurable campaign impact.

Strategic Consultant and Narrative Architect for Pilot Solutions

You will act as a consultative leader and trusted advisor to product and sales teams, driving the development of strategic narratives for pilot and visionary products that are not yet in market or in general availability. This requires a deep understanding of audience needs and market insights to build strategy narratives that feature differentiated aspects of our offerings and clearly articulate the value and future vision to key audiences. You will lead the process to determine the right mix of content, assets, and messaging needed to help drive these innovative ideas to clients enabling them to envision a future direction that will ultimately accelerate and propel their business objectives forward.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the creation, delivery, and performance analysis of solution and campaign contentacross B2B marketing campaigns, ensuring assets are tailored to audience needs and business objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic leader, consultant, and narrative architect for pilot products, collaborating closely with product and sales to develop future focused, audience centric positioning, messaging and strategic artifacts.

  • Set and communicate the vision for content strategy, and oversee the development of a diverse mix of content types slide decks, pilot demos, infographics, videos, webinars, web and landing pages, guides, reports, and customer and partner reference stories.

  • Accelerate and support the customer advocacy program, curating and integrating client reviews, references, and proof points into campaign and go to market assets. Mentor client advocacy manager and help set vision.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to internal team members and external agency partners to ensure quality, timeliness, and repeatable consistency.

  • Foster a collaborative, high performance culture across cross functional teams product, marketing, sales, legal, agencies, etc. to ensure cohesive messaging, alignment, and campaign execution.

  • Gather, analyze, and report on content and campaign performance, use insights to optimize for impact and engagement.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering creative growth, operational excellence, and professional development.

  • Champion and evangelize content marketing and solution narrative best practices across the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.

At least 12 years of professional experience in journalistic approaches to content strategy, production, and creation, with a focus on B2B technology or payments organizations, including people or project leadership experience.

Demonstrated success in leading integrated content and campaign initiatives that drive business results across the buyer journey.

Experience building strategic, audience centric narratives for early-stage or pilot products, and a track record of influencing client or market perception of visionary offerings.

Strong ability to distill complex technical ideas into compelling, differentiated messaging and visuals.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, able to guide and review a wide range of creative assets and concepts.

Analytical skills to measure content effectiveness and optimize for performance.

Experience managing agencies and creative partners with attention to quality and consistency.

Payments or financial services industry experience is a plus.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 152,200.00 to 220,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
