Issue Resolution Specialist (MHS GENESIS Support)

Atlas Technologies is seeking an experienced and proactive Issue Resolution Specialist to support the deployment, sustainment, and optimization of the MHS GENESIS electronic health record (EHR) system at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). This role serves as a vital link between the MTF and key stakeholders across the Defense Health Agency (DHA), including Health Informatics (HI), Implementation teams, the Program Management Office (PMO), and other DHA facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in issue resolution, technical troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination within a healthcare IT environment.

Travel: Up to 10%

You Will:

• Serve as a liaison between the MTF and DHA entities to coordinate EHR-related activities and ensure alignment with enterprise initiatives.
• Support deployment and sustainment efforts by assisting in business process adoption, reporting, and metrics tracking.
• Facilitate and participate in local Informatics Steering Committee meetings to guide informatics strategy and performance.
• Manage, coordinate, and maintain local Global Service Center (GSC) tickets related to MHS GENESIS and medical device connectivity.
• Collaborate with Solution Owners, Super Users, Functional Champions, and local IT staff to resolve technical issues and troubleshoot MHS GENESIS functionality and integrations.
• Communicate planned and unplanned system downtimes to local users and leadership to ensure situational awareness and continuity of care.
• Triage issues related to go-lives, system modifications, software upgrades, and interface/connectivity challenges.
• Develop and oversee solutions to complex technical and workflow issues requiring in-depth understanding of system operations and lifecycle.
• Assist in both deployment and sustainment phase activities to ensure a successful transition and ongoing functionality of MHS GENESIS.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to support operational decision-making.
• Leverage knowledge of business processes and technology to recommend systems and process improvements.

You Have:

• U.S. Citizenship
• A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
• Experience supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably MHS GENESIS or similar platforms
• Proven ability to manage issue tickets and provide timely resolution in a healthcare or enterprise IT environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare informatics, and system lifecycle management
• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective technical and procedural solutions
• Proficiency in tools used for reporting, tracking, and analytics
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
