Responsibilities The Asset and Inventory Control / Support Specialist I plays a dual role in supporting the Oklahoma Heart Hospital's IT operations. This position is responsible for the accurate tracking, management, and reporting of physical assets and inventory, as well as providing first-level technical support to end users. Key Responsibilities: Asset and Inventory Control: Receive, tag, track, and reconcile all incoming hardware and equipment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of asset lifecycle activities, including deployment, relocation, and decommissioning. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to coordinate asset management needs. Technical Support: Provide first-level support for end-user systems including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues related to Microsoft Office Suite, EPIC, Citrix, and other Windows-based applications. Serve as a customer service representative for technical issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution. Document support activities and escalate unresolved issues as needed. Qualifications Experience: Entry level position. Healthcare related IT help desk experience and Asset management a plus. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required Licensure/Certification: Technical certification preferred. Working Knowledge: Possesses a detailed knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, applications and a broad knowledge of general IT systems across the continuum.
