PE/HEALTH TEACHER - HIGH SCHOOL

Provo Canyon School, a year-round residential small setting private school, is seeking a Secondary certified teacher who is endorsed to teach Physical Education & Health. Elective endorsements such as Dance or Yoga are a valuable addition. Teachers should feel comfortable teaching Health, Fitness for Life, and PE Skills and Technique courses. Provo Canyon School follows the Utah State Physical Education and Health Core Standards. Year-round, full-time, salaried-exempt position: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Salary Range: $56,000 - $70,000 per year based on education & experience

Facility Locations: 763 NORTH 1650 WEST, Springville and 4501 N. University Ave, Provo - must be able to work at either location

Qualifications

Your Qualifications and Skills will include:

  • Valid secondary teaching certificate with a Physical Education & Health endorsement REQUIRED
  • Experience in Dance preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university REQUIRED
  • Mild to Moderate Special Education endorsement preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass criminal history background check and drug screen
