The Moving Assistant will provide logistical support such as moving preparations, packing, office setup, and light moving. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
  • During summer, oversee upwards of 30 faculty and departmental moves.
  • Play an integral role in helping to execute this multi-phased relocation schedule.


Work Interactions

The Moving Assistant will work closely with the Operations and Space Project Coordinator. Additionally, this individual will have daily interactions with departmental staff as well as members of the Facilities and IST teams.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Willingness to assist with physical, hands-on tasks such as packing and light moving

Pay Range

The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $16.15 - $17.95. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
