ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Quality Systems Specialist will be responsible for handling customer quality requests and will assure complete accurate information is provided. This position requires interpretation of technical and quality documents related to the food and pharma industry. Attention to detail and understanding of Quality Systems is needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide customers with requested documentation through internal systems and customer portals.
  • Manage requests from Quality mailbox. Ensure requests are processed in a timely manner
  • Manage and organize corporate statements, including the routine review and development of new statements.
  • Work with SME to prepare new statements to support customer or regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Hawkins TraceGains Gather site to provide updated information to customers.
  • Manage Kosher and Halal Programs to maintain Certifications for Hawkins facilities.
  • Facilitate nonconformance process, root cause analysis and investigations.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and assist with the development and improvement of the quality management system.
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.


      ABOUT YOU:



      • Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
      • Minimum five-year experience working in a regulated environment (ISO, GFSI, cGMP, etc.)
      • Experience with change control, document control, product and process lifecycle development, and training
      • Preferred experience with inspections, auditing, root cause analysis tools, CAPA, nonconformance and product complaint investigations.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel
      • Problem solving, trouble shooting, time management and organization skills
      • Ability to communicate well with all disciplines and levels at facilities and corporate.


      Expected Compensation: $75,000-$85,000/ year. + 5% bonus eligibility
