On call Environmental Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB has an opening for an on-call Entry Level Environmental Engineer to join our Site Investigation and Remediation practice. Responsibilities
* Write technical reports, correspondence, notes, and memoranda
* Develop and implement effective site investigation and remediation field programs
* Provide hands-on support during field exploration and testing
* Interpret and communicate investigation findings
* Leverage technology to support data management and visualization
* Participate in environmental due diligence activities

Skills and Attributes
* Work in field and office settings
* Effectively communicate complex topics with colleagues and clients
* Ability to problem solve and work independently

Qualifications
* BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
* 0-1 years of professional environmental/remediation consulting experience
* OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required after 30 days of employment
