The AES Corporation - AES Indiana The AES Corporation (AES) is a Fortune 500 global energy company with approximately 9,100 employees and $12 billion in revenue, and with a mission of accelerating the future of energy, together. AES seeks an attorney with significant Indiana state energy regulatory experience for its Indiana regulated utility, AES Indiana. AES Indiana serves approximately 531,000 customers located in central Indiana. AES Indiana is a fully integrated, regulated electric utility subject to the jurisdiction of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission ("IURC"). This business is an important part of AES' mission of accelerating the future of energy together, by improving lives and delivering exceptional service and value to customers and communities. The position reports to the U.S. Utilities General Counsel and provides counseling to the business on regulatory and legislative matters, including preparing, reviewing, and filing petitions with the IURC. The position works closely with AES Indiana's Regulatory and Government Affairs Departments and interacts with AES Indiana business areas regarding the review and interpretation of rules, regulations, statutes, and ordinances.
