Position Overview:

The Logistics Analyst III will serve as a senior technical resource and Team Lead, managing and coordinating day-to-day operations across multiple logistics functions in support of GSA's 4PL program. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain practices, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and prior experience leading small teams. This position will oversee task delegation, training, leave coverage, and serve as the primary interface with GSA's Operations Manager for their assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of logistics analysts and administrative personnel across one or more GSA 4PL store sites.
  • Oversee performance, assign tasks, and ensure staff coverage during absences.
  • Serve as the liaison between the contractor team and GSA Operations Manager.
  • Conduct daily operational reviews and status updates for requisitions, orders, and returns.
  • Validate and correct data entries in POS and OMS systems; ensure records are complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, assist with audits, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Support customer service operations, order status tracking, discrepancy resolution, and receipt generation.
  • Ensure all team members complete training, comply with SOPs, and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Maintain documentation for PIV cards, GFE, ENT access, and security requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (may substitute with equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or military supply operations.
  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with government procurement and inventory systems (e.g., DoDAAC, AAC, MIPR).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and GSA-specific systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Military logistics or federal contracting background highly desired.
