Responsibilities
The Fundraising intern is responsible for working with the Director to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence ( CNE). This role will play a key part in building relationships with donors and securing funding to support CNE's programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review existing plan and add new ideas to develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan aligned with CNE's overall mission and goals.
* Conduct research to identify potential donors and grant opportunities. Must have the ability to call nonprofits and funders (Critical Thinking)
* Cultivate relationships with major donors, foundation representatives, and corporate
sponsors.
* Develop and manage fundraising proposals and grant applications.
* Organize and manage fundraising events.
* Manage donor stewardship activities, including relationship building, communication, and recognition.
* Track and report on fundraising progress and results. (Technology)
* Maintain accurate records of all donations and grants received.
* Stay up-to-date on current trends in fundraising and grant writing.
* Assist with the development and communication of CNE's impact stories.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting.
* Understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in grant writing and proposal development.
* Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Experience using Canva, Scriptwriting.
* Must have MS Office Proficiency
