You will be responsible for all product-based marketing activities for our unique product and its derivatives. Develops marketing plans, strategies and tactics; then leads the implementation and follow up. Will develop excellent in depth knowledge of the products and programs and achieve an appropriate level of dental knowledge to be viewed as a resource by our customers, our partners, our sales team and internal employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develops and communicates 3 year and 1 year sales and marketing plans
- Conducts market research as necessary to gather design input, market trends, competitive activity, customer prospective, etc.
- Collaborates with the Vice President of Marketing and Clinical Affairs to make sure articles and studies about E4D get published in journals and that the core business is represented from the podium at all appropriate dental meetings/events
- Develops and manages product line marketing budget within overall operating budgets
- Gathers, analyses and prepares information about the market(s), growth rates, pricing, competitions, reimbursement, emerging technologies, etc.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
- Manages the development, training and distribution of all marketing, sales aid, advertisements, reimbursement guides, etc. to support product lines
- Facilitates the collection of information and documents the customer requirement for all new product development project and provides analysis to prioritize development projects for Research and Development
- Prepares and executes detailed new product launch plans, which include positioning, clinical data, selling tactics, forecasting, pricing, reimbursement, promotional programs, press release, sales training, dental practice training, etc.
- Interprets and translates clinical data into commercial implications
- Represents marketing group on cross-functional teams interfacing with product development, manufacturing operations to develop new products or enhance existing products
- Manages the Marketing Department with direct responsibility of planning, budgeting, implementing and talent management
- Meets company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Adheres to company policies, procedures and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
- Bachelor's Level Degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- MUST have medical device marketing experience in the dental field, this is required
- Must have classical marketing fundamentals (managed the entire product life cycle including product development, product management, product marketing, and brand management)
- Experience in building and executing multi-faceted, long-term, strategic plans based on business challenges
- Successful leadership and project management
- 5 years of increasing responsibility in Marketing in dental or medical equipment/devices industry
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- Individually led multiple successful new product launches
- Excellent presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills required
- Extensive knowledge of medical device industry and company products
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentation to the Management Team and Board of Directors
- Good dental acumen and ability to conduct tabletop demonstrations and articulate technical attributes
- Experienced negotiator and ability to prepare, edit and execute necessary contracts and documents

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Up to 10% travel

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment of the position is in a professional office and warehouse environment with uses of standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and copiers. Travel for meetings, conferences and events out of state may require overnight, weekend and international travel.
