Coordinates and prioritizes all aspects and daily operations of front desk in-person testing, distance and virtual proctoring, and grading. Provides technical support to proctors, test administrators, and faculty. Serves as lead and primary point of contact for Saturdays. Exam administration expert who provides leadership, guidance, and resolution to Testing staff and recommends best testing practices. Essential Functions 60% - Coordinates the workflow and daily operations of the Tempe Testing office, including frontline test administration, distance and virtual proctoring, and grading. Prioritizes and steps in as needed at the front desk, to proctor, grade, and complete tasks in all these areas. Provides a high level of customer service and serves as a point of contact for student/customer escalations and advanced technical troubleshooting. 20% - Expert at the administration of all exams offered. Point of contact for staff, students, and faculty via chat, phone, in-person, email, etc. Provides technical support and researches and resolves testing discrepancies and irregularities. Provides training and guidance to other staff. Travels to other Testing Center locations to fill in as needed. 10% - Creates, monitors, and maintains Testing reports from Test Tracker, Proctor, Grading, and other databases, making recommendations based on this information. Maintains updated information on Testing Department's public website. 10% - Maintains positive working relationships with all Testing staff, other departments, external customers, and faculty; performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of administrative office support or related experience providing a wide variety of secretarial, administrative office support and/or administrative coordination activities. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Four (4) year degree from an accredited institution B. Two (2) years experience working in an institution of higher learning C. Experience working in an Academic Testing Department/office D. Experience providing technical support or technical troubleshooting E. Experience working in a customer service environment Special Working Conditions This is an in-person position at the Rio Salado College Tempe Testing Center located at 2323 W. 14th Street Tempe, AZ 85281. Travel to other Testing Center locations may be required for training and coverage purposes. May require numerous evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs.
